Resumption of High Court Common Law Lists on Monday 29th June
Wednesday 24th June 2020
Terms & Sittings
1819 Days ago

Motions which were originally listed for hearing in the Common Law List on the 16th March 2020 will now be heard over four days on week commencing Monday 29th June 2020.

Where one of the parties involved in a motion is a lay litigant, the solicitors on record for the other party must inform the lay litigant of the hearing date and time.

To comply with social distancing requirements, staggered times have been allocated for parties to attend Court in respect of these motions and details are set out below.

Parties must attend at their given time slot as there will be no provision for a second calling of the list as social distancing requirements have to be adhered to at all times.

On the day, parties are requested to advise the Court of any Motion where the hearing of which is likely to exceed 15 minutes.

Parties are asked to note that, when an Order for Discovery is granted, a copy of the Motion (a WORD version of the document not PDF format) on which the Order for discovery was granted must be e-mailed into the Registrar sitting in the relevant list.
