Judge Johnson will sit in Longford on Tuesday next the 12th January and undertake a callover of all matters listed for the scheduled criminal sittings. It is proposed to adjourn all matters save those that can be dealt with through remote hearings to 1 February with a review taking place on 26 January to determine what cases if any can proceed in February. Criminal matters suitable for remote hearing will be allocated hearing slots on the 12th January
Please note that the attendance of accused persons and their representatives is not required at Longford on the 12th January.. Practitioners can email the court office with their instructions and these will be noted in open court. The intention is to reduce to an absolute minimum the number of people required to be in court on 12 January. Judge Johnson will be available to deal with any urgent applications and matters that arise until 31st January 2021
