A callover will take place at 14:30 on Monday 14th September 2020 which will deal with cases listed (and previously published) for 15/9/20 to 18/9/20 and 22/9/20 to 25/9/20.

Please note the following:

  1. ONLY ONE SOLICITOR/BARRISTER TO APPEAR FOR EACH CASE at the callover to have the case ruled or called on.
  2. No clients need attend at the callover.
  3. In the case of minor rulings there is no need for either the minor or next friend to attend if the offer is accepted.
  4. As all these cases were called on during the digital callover, no applications for adjournments will be granted by the court (unless in extenuating circumstances).
  5. Once the callover is complete new lists will be published with time slots allotted to each case on the hearing date.
  6. At the hearing of the case NO CONSULTATIONS ARE TO TAKE PLACE IN THE CONFINES OF THE COURTHOUSE.
  7. No applications will be accepted pertaining to cases not listed on the dates specified will be heard by the Court.

The numbers that may be present in court venues will be limited to the number that can be safely accommodated in accordance with social distancing guidelines. Accordingly, court business will be allocated specific time slots. Call over lists will be introduced to schedule specific times for cases requiring full hearings. On any day where the numbers attending the court venue are likely to exceed the number that can be safely accommodated in accordance with social distancing guidelines, those persons not actually necessary to the conduct of the cases before the court will be requested to leave.

Those attending court are requested to observe public health guidelines regarding social distancing, hand hygiene, respiratory etiquette and use of face coverings while in the court venue.

The conduct of court business will be constantly reviewed in line with public health guidelines and any changes that may be required due to health and safety concerns will be notified to court users.

In addition, the method of scheduling court business adopted in this plan will be reviewed to frequently to assess its efficiency.
