In relation to Criminal Matters in Carlow District Court, persons on bail need not attend and the case will be remanded in their absence. Accused persons will be informed of the new court date by their solicitor or by the Courts Service if they do not have a solicitor. In relation to custody cases, accused people will appear in court.
2nd April 2020
All Civil Matters in Carlow District Court have been adjourned to 4th June 2020. If any Solicitor wishes to make an application before the Presiding Judge in respect of the Civil list, they can do so on Wednesday, 1st April 2020, with prior notification to the Court office.
In relation to Criminal Matters, all charge sheet and summons matters are remanded on bail / adjourned to the 4th June 2020.
In relation to custody cases, accused people will appear by way of video link at Carlow District Court sitting in Kilkenny at 9.30am

With the exception of extension of care orders, interim care orders, emergency care orders and exceptional or urgent interim care orders, all other TUSLA Child and Family Agency matters are adjourned to 10th July 2020 at 10.30am.
