Mr Justice Woulfe speaks at launch of 6th Plassey Law Review

On Thursday 23 April, Mr Justice Woulfe attended the launch of the Sixth Edition of Plassey Law Review, which took place in University of Limerick’s Glucksman Library.  As the event’s keynote speaker, Mr Justice Woulfe paid tribute to the excellent scholarship on display in the journal, including a highly topical article on the question of whether a state which supplies weapons to a belligerent party can be considered a co-party to an armed conflict under international law.

Mr Justice Woulfe also penned the foreword to the journal, in which he described this most recent edition as “a monument to the rapid rise of the University of Limerick’s School of Law”.  The event marked a very happy occasion for one of the country’s youngest law schools.

There have been two news articles on the event, linked here and here.
