Mallow Courthouse & Office  Temporary Closure for Refurbishment

Mallow District Courthouse & Office will temporarily close for major refurbishment, significant repairs, and modernisation for a period of approximately 12 months, effective from 5 May 2026

  • District Court: All District Court sittings and office administration will relocate to Fermoy Courthouse.

    The first sitting of Mallow District Court at Fermoy Courthouse will occur on 5 May 2026. 
    Fermoy Court sittings will remain in Fermoy Court venue.

    Mallow Courthouse will be unavailable for the duration of the project.  All business will transfer back to Mallow Courthouse when the project is completed.

  • Circuit Court Sittings: 
    All Circuit Court cases for both Mallow and Fermoy will be heard in Cork City.

  • Office:  The District Court office, staff and presiding Judge, will operate from the Fermoy venue.
