Join us for Culture Night 2026

The Courts Service is inviting the public to experience the energy, colour and excitement of Brazilian samba at the historic Four Courts on Culture Night 2026.

On Friday, 18 September, the iconic Round Hall will come alive with music, movement and celebration as visitors are introduced to the vibrant world of Samba de Gafieira, one of Brazil's most popular and elegant social dances. Presented by Sambar and accompanied by the talented musicians of Brasilidades, this free event promises an unforgettable hour of rhythm, culture and fun in one of Dublin's most distinctive venues.

The celebration begins with a special harp performance, creating a unique musical atmosphere before the Brazilian festivities get underway. Visitors can then enjoy a lively Samba de Gafieira lesson, where experienced instructors will guide participants through the basics of this joyful partner dance.

Whether you are stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or already have some dancing experience, everyone is welcome. No experience is needed, just bring your curiosity, enthusiasm and perhaps your dancing shoes.

Samba de Gafieira is known for its infectious rhythms, elegant style and welcoming spirit. Combined with live music from Brasilidades, the event offers a rare opportunity to experience authentic Brazilian culture in the heart of Dublin.

The Courts Service is delighted to take part in Culture Night and to open the doors of the Round Hall for an evening that celebrates music, dance, creativity and cultural connection.

The event takes place from 6 - 7pm.
