High Court Notice
Long Vacation 2017

Practitioners are hereby advised of the following arrangements during the Long Vacation 2017.

A High Court judge will be available every day throughout the long vacation to hear urgent applications.

Applications will not be listed before the vacation judge without certification from the High Court Duty Registrar that the matter is urgent.

In the case of any such matter please contact the Four Courts at 01-8886000 and make arrangements with the High Court Duty Registrar.

All sittings before the vacation judge will take place Monday to Friday in Court 4 in the Four Courts at 11.00 a.m.

In addition to the foregoing, the following categories of business shall be heard as follows:

The Bail List at 11.00 a.m. in the Criminal Courts Justice (courtroom to be published in the Legal Diary) on each Tuesday and Thursday in accordance with the arrangements set out in Practice Direction HC 63

The Commercial List at 11.00 a.m. in Court 1 Four Courts on the 28th of August and the 13th and 26th of September

The Extradition List in Court 21 CCJ on the 17th and 31st of August and the 12th of September

The Minors' List at 11.00 a.m. in Court 7 Four Courts on the 17th and the 21st of August

The Insolvency List at 11.00 a.m. in Court 13 Four Courts on the 4th of September

The Hague and Luxembourg Convention List at 11.00 a.m. in Court 7 Four Courts on the 6th of September

Legal Diary
The Legal Diary will be published on the Courts Service website (www.courts.ie) on each day on which the Central Office is open during the long vacation.

Central Office of the High Court
The Central Office of the High Court will be open for public business on weekdays from 10.00 o'clock a.m. until 4.30 o'clock p.m. except on Monday 7th August.
